Toni B.

As you can see this is a picture of Toni Braxton. I loveeee me some Toni Michelle Braxton! I looked up some photoshop tutorials on youtube and I will put the link below. The tutorial was short and pretty easy. The person did another model but I chose to do Toni. If you would like to do it here is the link.  Enjoy!

Dada Logo

A few weeks ago my design class had an assignment to make a logo from a certain subject. I was assigned to the design called Dada. It was a little hard trying to create it but I finally pulled through. I already knew what Dada was prior to researching it. It's really cool art movement that you should look into. Of course the main subject was my name (I didn't know what else to make it about). I enjoyed making it and learning something new about design. This was made in Adobe Illustrator (just letting you know :)   !

Casper

This image was inspired by Pulp Magazine. This was a product of playing around in Photoshop. I didn't know what to do with these pictures at first but after playing around I came up with this. The background photo was taken by me. One morning my mom was driving and the fog just really looked good, so I had to stop to take the picture. Obviously the title came from the ghost Casper! Soo creative! I know!!

Have a great summer!

Smokin Hot

This young lady pictured above is my older sister, Queen.  HEYYYY GIRL! This post was originally designed for this week's topic for Illustration Friday but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to post it on there in time. The topic for this week was "smoke". I found the smoke image on google and I used the stained glass filter on Photoshop to give the effect that is shown on the first few seconds of the gift.

Have a great weekend !!

McDonalds Gone Wrong

This gif reminds me of how I feel in chemistry everyday. I really try to be great like a superhero but chemistry beats me up like Ronald McDonald. I made this gif in Photoshop and my images are from Pinterest. I will forever think of this gif when I go to chemistry. The struggle is real (HAHAHA). Only a few more weeks to go.

P.S. (Never make Ronald McDonald mad! He just might kick you in the face.)

NOT Disney!

I started working on a gif for a client last week and it inspired this gif. First I started playing with lines and then i changed the colors to give it an rainbow look. I found this image on Pinterest (I love Pinterest). It didn't take me long to think of this gif and illustrate it. For "NOT Disney!" I used
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The name came from Disney Channel obviously. I thought about the boy from the movie entrance to all of the Disney movies. I really wish I had the Disney wand. (hahaha)

Drunk Man

"Drunk Man" went through sooo many changes until it became what you see now. Now understand what people mean when they say keep your options open. It took about 2 1/2 weeks for me to come up with this. I can FINALLY work on something else!! I used a white space image provided by my teacher, fire images, and a background picture. The man that is falling off the bridge is a work of art from Robert Longo's series called "Men in the Cities."

La Flo Hermosa

Lotus Flower - IMG_0168-sun-prime by Bahman Farzad, via Flickr:
The title "La Flo Hermosa" is spanish for the beautiful flower. Hopefully I will be able to work on  this soon. I am going to take this picture into photoshop and make it into a  gif. I saw this image on Pinterest and it really stood out to me. All credits to the person  who put it on Pinterest and Bahman Farzad on Flickr. Also, follow me on Pinterest @Destinyliz

Work In Progress

I am late posting this but It's finally here. However, I am not done with it yet. The left picture is the original Wheaties cereal box. The one on the right is the one I am recreating. Some things I have to fix are the outer flow, the eye cut, and the text. For this assignment I used the pen tool, type tool, line segment, rectangle, and eyedropper tool.

50 Shades of Chocolate

"50 Shades of Chocolate" was an assignment I had in my graphic arts class. My teacher <hey! I know you are reading this :) > took a photo of my class individually  and we had to illustrate this piece of art on ourselves. I used the pin tool in Illustrator to make this. It was a little difficult at first but I eventually got the hang of it. My friend Starlighter gave me this title ((Thanks Homiee)). This picture makes me look like I can be Little Bill's older sister lol!

P.S. Happy Belated Valentine's Day !!

SMART ART

"SMART ART" was inspired by Illustration Friday's challenge of the week. The word for this week is smart. I'm still not use to Adobe Illustrator yet so this is just a free-lance type of project. I wasn't going for a specific look this week. I just kept adding things as time went along. Make sure you check out the Illustration Friday website, it's very good and inspiring.

Hearts of Gold

This piece reminded me of one of my bestfriends named Jasmine. She is funny and she is a veryyy sweet person. Jasmine loves colors and different shapes but her favorite is hearts. Her personality is pure which made me think of "Hearts of Gold". This was also my first project in adobe Illustrator so, everything came together with the assignment and inspiration. Love you Jazz

Spinderella

This piece is called Spinderella and it was inspired by the word "spin" on www.illustrationfriday.com. At first, it was going to be a scene from The Wiz/ Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy was taken away by the storm. When I began to look through other pictures, I began to think about people dancing which lead me to the image of this girl. Also, circles are heavily associated with spinning so I had to add it to the picture without hesitation.
